We are a family-run dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional care in a warm, welcoming environment. With two modern surgeries and a passionate team led by our Principal Dentist and Dental Therapist, we are committed to helping every patient achieve a healthy, confident smile.
Our team brings together over 40 years of combined experience in dentistry, combining clinical expertise with a genuine passion for patient care. Dental care has been part of 2 Abbey Drive for years. When the previous owner retired and sold the practice, its new owner saw the chance to start completely fresh: a new name, a new identity, and a refurbishment that transformed every room.

Dr Karamvir Takhar (Rocky)

Many of you will already know me, but for those I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting, I am Dr Takhar, Principal Dentist and proud owner of the practice. I have been practising dentistry for over 13 years and have a particular interest in dental implants, Invisalign®, composite bonding and veneers. My career began with a strong focus on minimally invasive restorative dentistry, and that philosophy continues to underpin my approach today—providing bespoke treatment that preserves as much natural tooth structure as possible while delivering long-lasting, natural-looking results.
My aim is simple: to provide every patient with exceptional dental care in an environment where they feel comfortable, valued and confident in the treatment they receive. Taking ownership of the practice marks an exciting new chapter, and my vision is to create a modern dental practice that combines clinical excellence with genuine patient care—investing in the latest technology and advanced techniques, whilst building a dedicated, compassionate team who share the same commitment to outstanding dentistry. It is a privilege to care for the patients of the practice, and I look forward to building lasting relationships within our community and helping you achieve a healthy, confident smile for life.
Amanda Holmes

Amanda graduated in 2002 from The Eastman Dental Hospital, London, with a dual qualification in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy. Following graduation, she spent 12 years working across general practice and special care dentistry within the Community Dental Service, caring for some of the most vulnerable patients in the community. She has continued her passion for dentistry by completing a post-graduate qualification in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry. Alongside her role at The Beeston Dentist, Amanda also supports head and neck cancer patients through their pre- and post-treatment care at a large specialist hospital.
Known for her calm and compassionate approach, Amanda takes pride in building trusting relationships with patients and working collaboratively with the wider dental and medical teams. She is committed to continuous professional development and maintaining high clinical standards. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dog, baking, and catching up with friends.
Rajpreet Takhar
Rajpreet, my wife, is the Business Manager and co-owner of The Beeston Dentist, as well as the heart of our practice. She is dedicated to ensuring that every patient feels welcomed, comfortable, and cared for from the moment they walk through our doors.
Passionate about building genuine relationships, Rajpreet takes great pride in creating a positive experience for every patient. Whether you have a question, need reassurance, or simply appreciate a friendly conversation and a warm smile, she is always happy to help.
Our values of Care, Comfort, and Confidence are at the centre of everything we do, and Rajpreet plays a key role in bringing those values to life each day. She works tirelessly behind the scenes and at the front of the practice to ensure every patient feels valued, supported, and confident in the care they receive.
Outside of the practice, Rajpreet enjoys spending quality time with her family, exploring the great outdoors, and getting lost in a good book.
Viktoriia

Having worked in dentistry since 2008 and joined the practice in 2022, Viktoriia is committed to providing the highest standard of patient care and ensuring every patient feels welcomed, comfortable and well looked after. Known for her caring and professional approach, Viktoriia enjoys building positive relationships with patients and supporting them throughout their dental journey.
Helping patients feel at ease and leave with confidence is one of the most rewarding aspects of her role. The trust and appreciation she receives from patients are a constant source of motivation, inspiring her to deliver exceptional care and create a positive experience for everyone who visits the practice.
May

May has been working as a Dental Nurse since 2016 and is passionate about providing high-quality patient care and support. She holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Public Health and has continued to expand her skills through further qualifications in Dental Radiography and CBCT Scanning. May is also an experienced Implant Nurse, assisting with a wide range of implant procedures and helping patients feel comfortable throughout their treatment journey.
She enjoys being part of a dedicated dental team and takes pride in creating a welcoming and positive experience for every patient. Outside of work, May is a proud mum to two boys and loves spending quality time with her family, especially enjoying outdoor activities and making lasting memories together.
Paula

Paula is a qualified Dental Nurse who gained her NEBDN qualification in 2017 and has over 10 years of experience working in dentistry. Throughout her career, she has developed a broad range of skills and enjoys supporting both patients and clinicians across all aspects of dental care. Alongside her clinical role, Paula has a particular interest in compliance and practice management, and is passionate about ensuring the practice maintains the highest standards of safety, quality, and patient care.
Known for her friendly and approachable nature, Paula enjoys building positive relationships with patients and helping them feel comfortable throughout their visits. Outside of work, Paula loves baking for family and friends and spending quality time with her family.
Lucie

Lucie has been a qualified Dental Nurse for over 20 years, with experience across NHS, private, and military dental settings. In addition to her dental nursing qualification, she is also a qualified Oral Health Educator and Orthodontic Nurse. She particularly enjoys implant and general dental nursing, with a strong focus on patient care and comfort. Known for her calm and reassuring approach, Lucie is passionate about helping nervous patients feel at ease and supporting them throughout their dental journey.
Having lived in Toton for much of the past 18 years, Lucie is an active member of the local community. Outside of work, she enjoys year-round outdoor swimming, gardening, crocheting, and singing with the Military Wives Choir at Chilwell Barracks.
