A new patient examination with us takes a full appointment, not five minutes. We assess your teeth, gums, bite, jaw joints and soft tissues, screen for oral cancer, and take digital X-rays and high-resolution photographs so you can see exactly what we see.
Our hygiene appointments use modern ultrasonic and airflow technology, a faster, more comfortable clean that lifts staining and leaves your mouth feeling brand new.

Frequently asked questions
Most patients benefit from an examination every six months and hygiene visits two to four times a year, but we tailor your recall to your individual risk, some need more frequent visits, some less.
Yes. We use modern digital sensors with a very low radiation dose, a routine set of X-rays is comparable to a few hours of natural background radiation. We only take them when clinically justified.
It shouldn't. Our ultrasonic and airflow equipment is far gentler than old-fashioned scraping. If you're nervous or have sensitive teeth, tell us, we can adjust techniques and even numb areas if needed.
Never. A huge number of our patients arrive after a long gap. You'll get a warm welcome, a clear picture of where you are today, and a step-by-step plan at a pace you're comfortable with.
